Welcome, traveler, to the home of Decarthado

As you Re-enter the main room of Decarthado's home, you notice that it is a rather large, circular room and beautifully decorated. However you don't dare to touch anything after what happened in the hallway. Especially after you also notice that Decarthado is no longer present as he is in his chambers. You can see a door across the room which is obviously the entrance to his chambers because it has gold letters stating the fact.

Then you see a small scroll hovering in the center of the room. Somehow you have a feeling it is meant for you. You pick the scroll out of the air and begin to read:

"Dear Visitor,"

"I hope you have enjoyed seeing my home. Please forgive me if, should you return, I cannot remember who you are. I get so many visitors and I cannot possibly be expected to remember who they all are. I may end up giving you the same speech I did when you first arrived, but you'll have to pretend you aren't interested. I'll understand."

You aren't quite sure what to do with the scroll after you've finished reading it, so you make an attempt at placing it back where it was. To your amazement, it re-suspends itself and stays where you let go of it! Perhaps Decarthado lets all his visitors read that scroll....
