The Hallway of Variation

As you enter the Hallway, you notice that each of the doors have large gold letters embedded in them. Not just cheap gold painted letters, but real gold filled into crevices carved into the doors! As you reach up to touch a letter on the nearest door, you immediately draw your hand back from an electrical shock. Not a strong one, but enough to make your whole hand smart. Evidently Decarthado has taken precautions against would-be thieves. You quickly decide not to try anything like that again.
